Information For Parents

Parents who are members can assist Club Directors and Coaches at team practices, tournaments and other activities. Be sure to discuss the Club policies on those opportunities with the Club Director and Coach. All adult members associated with junior clubs and activities, including parents, must be SafeSport certified

  •  It is highly recommended that even all non-member parents should be SafeSport-certified.
  • It is highly recommended that each team have at least 2 adults who are SafeSport-certified in order to oversee compliance with SafeSport policies by all involved – coaches, parents, players, etc.

Excelsior offers a discounted membership [“Other Adult”] for non-coach parents.

3. Find A Team

Joining a team is a great way for your child to build their skills. Playing for a school, playing for a club, it doesn’t matter. Find a team or a local club to give your child the opportunity to play and compete by contacting your Region.

4. Accelerate Their Training

My child is a good player and has the drive to compete at the highest possible level. They want to see how Olympians and Paralympians train and pursue their own Path to the Podium with the National Team Development Program.
