Event Policy
This is an Excelsior Empire sanctioned tournament. Every player must have a valid USAV membership (either full season or one-day for January 12, 2025) and verification can be performed thru any of the following methods:
- Print a roster thru AES that lists all of your players and their membership numbers and submit it to the Tournament Director.
- Print a registration packet that consists of a cover sheet listing all of your players and their membership numbers followed by a printed copy of their membership card and submit the packet to the Tournament Director.
- Submit a printed roster to the Tournament Director that lists all of your players. Any player registered in a region other than Excelsior Empire must verify their membership with the Tournament Director. Verification can be done with either a printed membership card or by presenting an image of the membership card on their phone or other electronic device. Note that players registered with Excelsior Empire no longer have to check in: the Tournament Director will verify their membership against the region’s membership data.
This will be a sanctioned non-standard tournament, meaning:
- No uniform requirements (Uniforms won’t be required, but the libero must stand out in a completely different color shirt so that it’s easier for the R1 to recognize.)
- No scoresheet
- No lineup sheets
- No libero tracking
- No paid officials: work teams provide R1, R2, line judges, and flipper
